The staff of the Edge Ice Center, the members of the Owensboro Figure Skating Club, and the City of Owensboro’s Parks & Recreation Department invite you to the
13th Annual Living on the Edge ISI Invitational Recreational Team Competition.

FACILITY: | 1400 Hickman Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42301. Phone (270) 687-8720.
The Edge Ice Center opened in August 2009, and has one ice sheet measuring 200′ X 85′ with spec-tator seating for 300. Dressing rooms are available for competitors and Synchronized Teams. A snack bar is in the rink and a variety of restaurants from fast food to 5-Star are within ten minutes of the facility. Spotlights will not be used during the Spotlight events. |
ELIGIBILITY: | All skaters must be current ISI members, and their relevant tests must have been registered with the national office by February 7, 2025. Members of USFS are eligible and welcome to compete in ISI competitions as long as they are individual members of ISI and have all their ISI tests passed and registered. For requirements for the minimum ISI test level on which USFS skaters must compete, see the ISI Handbook. All ISI competitions are team competitions where skaters earn points for their home rink/team, and therefore all competitors must represent a current ISI Administrative Member Arena. |
ENTRY FORMS: | All entries will be through EntryEeze. Mailed entry forms will be accepted. Payment should be included. All checks should be made payable to the City of Owensboro.

EVENT
SCHEDULE: |
The event schedules will be posted on the competition website at least one week prior to the competition. Events will begin the evening of Friday, March 7 if needed. Practice ice schedule will be released by February 21. Skaters may purchase practice sessions online. |
COMPETITOR PACKETS: | All skaters may pick up their competitor packets on Friday, March 7 during practice sessions, and again on Saturday throughout the day. |
MUSIC: | All music will be submitted electronically in advance. Music files should be MP3/MP4 or Wave file.

Example: Alivia Coy, Solo Program, FS3, or Rylee Cox, Spotlight Entertainment, FS4) Information on how to submit music will be sent out to skaters after the entry deadline. |
CHECK-IN: | All skaters should check-in with the ice monitor one (1) hour before they are scheduled to skate. Events may run early, so be prepared. |
AWARDS: | Individual placement winners of 1st-6th place in each event will receive medals. Awards will be available for distribution throughout the day. Each skater in the competition is a representative of a team, and will earn team points according to placement. |
