Dugan Best Park is a 6.85 acre park acquired by the City in 1941 as a City Dump. It was renovated in 1966 by Honorable Mayor Dugan Best for recreational purposes. Dugan Best Park is a neighborhood park named in honor of the late Mayor Dugan Best. In 1974 Dugan Best Recreation Center was added to the Park.
