REGISTRATION OPEN FOR OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION ADULT SPRING SPORTS LEAGUES

 

Adult Softball Leagues

 

NEW LEAGUE: Owensboro Parks & Recreation is excited to introduce the brand-new 40 & Over Softball League, designed for players looking to shake off the winter rust and get back on the field in a fun and fellowship-driven atmosphere.

 

League Details:

  • All games will be played on Monday nights
  • The season kicks off March 10
  • Draft-Style Team Selection
  • Rules Based on the TPSSA Senior Rulebook

 

Registration Information:

  • Deadline: February 28
  • Fee: $30 per player
  • Register online at owensboroparks.org, mail-in Registration or over the phone at 270-687-8700

 

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is also offering its two other adult softball leagues: Men’s Competitive and Recreational and Coed Competitive and Recreational.

 

League Details:

  • Coed division games will be held on Wednesday evenings.
  • Men’s division games will take place on Thursday evenings.
  • Makeup games may be scheduled on Tuesdays, depending on field availability.
  • Each team will play nine regular-season games, followed by a double-elimination tournament.
  • The season kicks off the week of April 16.

 

Registration Information:

  • Deadline: March 7
  • Fee: $390 + tax per team (includes registration, sanction, and umpire fees)
  • Minimum Age: 16 years old (players under 18 must have parental consent)

 

A mandatory pre-season meeting will be held on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center.

 

 

Corporate Challenge Mini Leagues

 

Owensboro Parks and Recreation is excited to welcome local businesses to join the excitement of Corporate Challenge Leagues. Activities include Wiffle Ball, Kickball, and Adult Softball, all played at Jack C. Fisher Park. This league offers a great way for businesses to bring their employees together for team building and commraderie.

League Details:

  • All games will be played on Tuesday nights with games beginning at 6:00 p.m.
    • Slow-Pitch Softball (May 6-May 27)
    • Wiffle Ball (July 8-July 29)
    • Kickball (September 9-September 30)
  • The season kicks off Tuesday, May 6

Registration Information

  • Deadline: April 11 at 4:30 p.m.
  • Fee: $250 per team per sport

A mandatory pre-season meeting will be held on April 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center.
