The 5th Field at Jack C Fisher Park Reservations
Located on the south end of the park, the 5th field, also referred to as the practice field, is open for reservations by the general public as well as organized teams.
The 5th field consists of a dirt infield and a 200 foot natural grass outfield. Bases are set at 60 feet with a 50 foot pitching mound. There is no outfield fence or lights.
Reservations are $20 per hour and taken on a first come first served basis.
Persons/teams are limited to one reservation per week and cannot book more than one week in advance.
Tournaments and events take priority.
All reservations are subject to approval.
The 5th field is CLOSED – November through February – for maintenance.

Jack C. Fisher Park Softball Fields Reservation
Effective Spring 2023, the four fields inside the softball complex a Jack C. Fisher Park will be available to reserve for practices and games by organizations.
The hybrid turf fields will be a useful alternative for teams looking for a practice or game location that can withstand most weather cancellations.
The fee to rent one of the 4 complex fields is $30 per hour per field.
Reservations are only available during the week.
Owensboro Parks & Recreation has sole discretion on availability.
Organizations must sign a contract and provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance, with a minimum $1,000,000 limit per occurrence.
Rental inquiries for the synthetic turf fields must be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance of taking place.
