SPRING/SUMMER ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Hey, batter, batter, swing! The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for the Spring/Summer Adult Softball Leagues. Divisions consist of Men’s Competitive and Recreational. and Coed Competitive and Recreational.
Games will be played at Kentucky Legend Fields at Jack C. Fisher Park with Coed taking place Wednesday evenings and Men’s taking place Thursday evenings each week. Please note, makeup games could be scheduled on Tuesday evenings dependent on facility schedule. There will be 10 regular season games and a single elimination tournament. The Season will begin the week of April 10.
Registrations and rosters must be submitted by Thursday, March 23. The registration fee is $370, plus tax per team. This includes registration fee, sanction and umpire fees. Awards: 15 Custom Championship Shirts to the champions of the regular season schedule as well as the champions of each tiered tournament.
Minimum age to play is 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
A mandatory Pre-Season meeting will be held on Monday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Kentucky Legend fields at Jack C. Fisher Park.
